How we verify every member

Verification is not a checkbox at Private Sugar Club — it is the foundation of everything. Every member, without exception, goes through a multi-step identity process before their profile is visible to anyone else on the platform. Here is exactly what that involves.

The verification process

Every new account follows the same five steps in sequence. No step can be skipped. No profile goes live until all steps are complete and a human moderator has approved the submission.

Government ID submission

Every member submits a government-issued photo ID. We accept passports, driving licences, and national identity cards from all countries worldwide.

This step does more than confirm identity — it is also the first line of defence against underage applicants, scammers, and bad actors. Anyone who cannot provide a valid ID confirming they are 18 or over, or whose identity raises any concern during review, is rejected here and never reaches the platform.

Face photo matched against ID

Members submit a selfie which is cross-referenced against the photo on their submitted ID. This confirms the person creating the account is the same person named on the document — not someone using a stolen or borrowed identity.

Video selfie / liveness check

Members complete a short video selfie to confirm they are a real, live person — not a photograph, deepfake, or AI-generated image. This is the same liveness detection technology used by major financial institutions and identity platforms during onboarding.

This step specifically eliminates a category of fraud that photo checks alone cannot catch: sophisticated impersonation using stolen images or synthetic media.

Manual review by a human moderator

Every new account is reviewed by a member of our moderation team within 6 hours of submission. Automated checks are a starting point — not the final word. A trained human reviews profile content, photos, bio, and all submitted documents before approval is granted.

This is the step that catches what automated systems miss: inconsistencies between profile details, suspicious patterns in bio content, or anything that does not feel right even when documents technically pass.

Automated duplicate account detection

Our systems cross-check every new submission against all existing accounts to identify and block duplicate registrations. This specifically targets attempts by previously banned users to return to the platform under a new identity — a common tactic among bad actors on dating platforms.

Sugar daddies complete the same full five-step verification process as every other member. Beyond that, they have the option to earn an additional income-verified badge by submitting lifestyle or income documentation.

This badge is displayed on their profile alongside their standard verified badge and signals to sugar babies that the member has been verified beyond standard identity checks. It is voluntary — but for sugar daddies who want to stand out as serious, credible members, it is meaningful.

What verified badges mean

Every verified member carries at least one badge on their profile. Here is what each badge confirms.

Verified

This member has completed all five steps of PSC's identity verification process — government ID submission, face photo match, video liveness check, human moderator review, and duplicate account detection. Their identity has been confirmed as real.

Every member on Private Sugar Club who can send or receive messages carries this badge. It is not optional for communication — verification is the requirement.

Verified Income verified

Sugar daddies who carry both badges have completed the full identity verification process and additionally submitted income or lifestyle documentation. This combination signals the highest level of verification available on PSC.

When you see both badges on a sugar daddy's profile, you are looking at someone whose identity, face, and financial standing have all been independently confirmed.

What no badge means

Unverified accounts exist on PSC in a limited capacity — they can purchase content or tip sugar babies, but they cannot initiate or participate in direct conversations. If a profile has no verified badge, they cannot message you. Verification is not optional for communication — it is the requirement.

Why verification matters on a sugar dating platform
